Delhi University has made it mandatory for all newly admitted students and their parents/guardians to submit anti-ragging undertakings for the academic year 2025.
This move comes in line with UGC regulations aimed at curbing ragging in educational institutions and ensuring student safety.
As per the guidelines:
All students must fill an online anti-ragging affidavit at www.antiragging.in or www.amanmovement.org.
After submitting, students and their parents will receive PDF affidavits via email.
These PDFs must be uploaded to the DU admission portal to complete the enrollment process.
Failure to submit the declarations may lead to cancellation of admission.
Key Points:
Ragging is strictly prohibited on campus and is a punishable offense under Indian law.
The university will run awareness programs and display anti-ragging posters in departments and hostels.
A helpline and dedicated anti-ragging committee have been established for quick response.
This step is part of DU’s continued efforts to foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.
